Here at Beaumont, we make our Georgia Shutters from an engineered, multi-material. They are solid, painted, tough and make for a low-cost option. We make the stile and rails with a strong laminated timber core. We then wrap them in the durable MDF and coat them in an etched plastic. The Louvers are extruded ABS (the same tough plastic electric kettles are made from) and are extremely strong, allowing for extra widths not possible with Timber or MDF.

The whole Georgia shutter and frame (MDF) are then paint-finished in a choice of 19 colours. So, with all this in mind, Georgia Shutters are certainly a versatile choice.
