Tier on Tier Shutters

Tier on Tier Shutters provide real versatility of light and privacy. We achieve this by having top and bottom panels that open independently of each other.

If you want privacy but would still like plenty of light, then fold back the top panels. You will allow light to flow into the room but still maintain privacy.

Useful Information About Our Tier on Tier Shutters

These shutters have two levels of door; one on top of each other. These 2 levels are not connected; they open and close completely independently of one another. If you would like increased flexibility from your shutters, our shutters provide just that. They offer many options – from being fully open or leaving the top half open, but closing the bottom half and then tilting the slats for privacy. Alternatively, you could close both tiers across the window and tilt the Louvers for maximum privacy or as a way of providing shading from the sun. We have fitted a range of shutters in many properties. They look particularly good on windows that are taller than they are wide. We can advise you on whether your property is suitable for this kind of Shutter.

Materials, Add-Ons & Colours

These shutters can be manufactured from any of our Shutter Materials. Wooden shutters are the best for this style as they are lighter, and with having wood you can also have concealed hinges or as some people may say hidden hinges. The other great reason to have wooden hinges is the colour range you can choose from as we have 28 paints, 20 stains not just 5 standard colours that MDF offers.
